Robin0815
Hi, I'm just about to normalize my music library for Poweramp app on my android. I tryied it with Mp3tag on PC. But, for instance, the changed genres didn't appear in the app. Could it be a problem with the supported mp3 tag version? Wich one should I choose? Which should be deleted? In Mp3tag I can choose ID3v1 / ID3v2.3 UTF-16 / ID3v2.3 ISO-8859-1 / ID3v2.3 UTF-8 / ID2v2.4 or APE. Thanks in advance for your ideas. Quote Translate Revert translation? andrewilley
Do a Full Rescan (in PA Settings > Library) after you've updated the tags in existing files. What tags are you trying to change? For MP3 files, ID3v2.3 UTF-8 or UTF-16 is usually fine. Andre Quote Translate Revert translation? w3wilkes
My MP3Tag settings; This way I remove all tags except for ID3v2.3. The method I use is - Edit -> Select all -> Edit -> Cut -> Edit -> Paste. This removes all tags and then writes fresh ID3v2.3 UTF16 which works perfectly for all my MP3 files/players including Poweramp. Quote Translate Revert translation?
