andrewilley
Works fine as far as I can see. Could you provide a bit more detail on what issues you are experiencing on your device? I assume you mean you are tapping on a song from the library Folders category? Andre
Sahmmy123
Nope... It doesn't work for me either. If I go to my MUSIC folder to select a song from there it will not play. I can select the same song in the Poweramp App and it will play. Just started to happen. Uggghhh!
Ceres
@Sahmmy123 this is the problem. It's very annoying for me because I always select songs from music folder or other folders.
andrewilley
Ah, I think you are asking about launching music from another app (such as a file explorer app), which wasn't mentioned in the first post. While that's not how Poweramp is primarily designed to work (you normally use its internal music library system) I've checked and there does seem to be an issue with this method of launching a song. Another thread has mentioned the same thing. From what I can see, it works fine on build 867, but not on 868 (tested on an Android 10 phone and an Android 7 tablet). I'm sure @maxmp will look into this as soon as possible, but in the meantime please use the regular Poweramp library interface to select music rather than launching single tracks via external file explorers or Google Assistant. maxmp
Thanks for the report. The issue with some file managers not giving proper permissions for files opened in them fixes in the next build.
andrewilley
Today's new build 869 fixes the issue of files not playing when launched from external apps, such as tapping on a music file in a File Explorer app or launching a Playlist from one of the 1x1 homescreen widgets.
