desperado55 Posted July 25, 2019 Share Posted July 25, 2019 Hi Poweramp ist not able to play specific files anymore. This occurs after having upgraded to Build 838 and on two differnt devices. It shows several times the msg 'Failed to play file!' This occurs with android 6.0.1 and 8.1.0. I already reinstalled Build 838, but with no change. Please fix. andrewilley Posted July 25, 2019 Share Posted July 25, 2019 What "specific files"? Anything in common between them - storage location, file type, size, etc.? If this was an upgrade to 838, rather than a new clean install, try either Settings > Library > FULL Rescan. Or you could try clearing data for the app in Android settings, and let the scanner rebuild the library database again (remember to back up your settings and/or any playlists you may have created first).
