Global Equaliser preset

How do I set a global Equaliser preset?

It seems to always change the settings to one previously set .

Sometimes per song.

I just want an equaliser set and not change to another preset.

You need to clear any song-specific EQ settings you may have saved as they will override other settings. Then I would suggest saving a master EQ for for the current output device (e.g. headset or bluetooth). (Tick the relevant box in the "Save EQ Preset" screen).

OK but I have quite a few songs on the SD and they have all been attached to a particular equ setting when the new version went on.

Is there a way to clear this.

Would be great to have a default global that just overrides the individuals set.

That way you could set individual songs then just set the global to override it. Change the override and it goes back to single song settings.

The easiest way would be to clear all data and start again (like a re-install), but that will remove other stuff too, such as internally edited playlists, downloaded album art, etc.

Actually it would be easier for me if a global equaliser setting was added.

Its too confusing keeping up with every songs preset equaliser.

I understand that its what a lot of people want but I guess there is a equal amount that do not.

Could you ask for a global setting. on for global off for individual preset of songs.

Must be a easyish thing to do.

If you want to use one global preset that's fine, just don't assign individual ones.
