ChrisMuc
On Lollipop 5.1, the bluetooth playback when the screen is locked is almost unusable, since every ten seconds, there's a 1/2 second drop of the sound. This only happens, when the screen is locked, regardless of ticking "use wakelocks" in the settings. When the screen is not locked, the sound is played without drops. andrewilley
I quite often get the same (I'm on KitKat). When I'm driving any distance in the car I have tended in the past to have my phone plugged in for charging, which is set keep the screen on, so I rarely noticed it much. However now I use a wireless charging pad in the car, which does not keep the screen on, I quite often notice audio glitches after a few minutes of screen-off playback via Bluetooth. If I turn the screen back on it goes away, only to return a few minutes after the screen has gone off again. Andre
maxmp
Can you please be a bit more specific about your device? Is this some HTC?We noticed that HTC @ Lollipop doesn't honor audio device wakelock anymore (bug) and it requires activating Settings - Misc - Use Wakelock in Poweramp settings. 574 activates this by default. Thanks! ChrisMuc
My device is a Nexus 5 When setting the audio buffer to 500ms, the stuttering almost vanishes. Not completely, but listening is then much more joyful than before.
