Can no longer quickly scroll thru playlist 4.4.2

Kitkat 4.4.2

• Your Custom ROM name/version (if you're on custom ROM)

N/A - no custom ROM. 

 

I recently updated to Kitkat 4.4.2. Now, whenever I scroll thru my playlist, I no longer have the option of "grabbing" the bar and scrolling quickly to the bottom of the playlist. I have to keep swiping my finger to go up or down, which takes much longer (especially for playlists with several hundred to a thousand songs).

 

I searched through the settings but I could not find anything that changed. Is this a bug specific to 4.4.2 ? Thanks
