"Radio" play Mode Option

It would be amazing if there was a way to play music so that a skip would start a song at a random point in the playback, sort of like a radio. An even cooler way to implement this would be to have it bounce around "stations" that played in the background so that you could tune into them like a real one, sorted by category.

I really don't get what you are trying to say here. Poweramp is for playing your local music. Are you looking for a way to change tracks and start playing from somewhere in the middle of each song?

Yes! Except not just the middle, but a random point in the song.

Hardly seems like an audiophile-like requests maybe it can be part of the A-B Repeat option should that get voted up in that list.

@Lucky Max Not quite sure why anyone would want their songs to start playing at random points somewhere in the middle? What would be the point?

There is a Request for a more "radio-like" segue option though, to avoid songs that have sudden starts or abrupt endings from being cross-faded unnaturally.

@andrewilleyThe point is novelty. At a certain point, you get used to hearing the first moment of every song. It's no doubt the best way to listen, but it gets old eventually. A random place in the playback exposes you to parts in your library that you forgot existed. I encourage you to try it manually by hitting shuffle, skipping, and then immediately tapping somewhere on the seekbar. If you've got as a large of a library as I do, you'll probably find it refreshing to hear those random moments.
