Is there a way have a custom sort order for genres?

I'd like to be able to sort my genres so that similar sounds like Rock and Classic Rock can be next to eachother, but I'm only able to sort it by the same few orders like "alphabetical" or "dated created".

@Lucky Max with my app Music Playlist Manager you can create playlists in Poweramp with custom queries and sort whichever way you like. You can even save this query and link it to a playlist so it can recreate itself when changes have ocurred in your music collection (aka smart paylists).

@Lucky Max it accesses the Poweramp media database and writes the new playlist in Poweramp using the api provided

@Lucky Max You can't custom sort the genre list, the other option being discussed would be to create a custom playlist containing all the songs in a new order.
