Phone wakes the screen up when switching songs with headset buttons

Hey, Poweramp team. I've been facing this strange issue which started happening recently, and I don't know if it's because the latest version of Poweramp or the December patch for my Galaxy A54. 

 

When the screen/phone is off or in my pocket, when I push the headset buttons (either pause/play or double-triple push), the screen lights up. When it's in my pocket, it will mess with the song playing and whatnot. The log doesn't seem to show something strange.

I've checked on my own A54 with December update, and Android's lockscreen will appear for a few seconds to show the media notification panel when you press any of the headset cable buttons (Volume, Play/Pause, etc). But the phone should not be getting unlocked for normal screen use, it should remain locked. It's nothing to do with Poweramp though, this happens whenever any audio app is playing - not sure if this functionality was added as part of the Android 14 rollout or the newer December update.

If the media controls on the lockscreen are getting accidentally pressed in your pocket, you can turn that widget off in Android Settings=>Lock Screen=>Widgets.
