Music downloaded from band camp is adding band, album and song title to the song title so not enough space to see actual title is the any way to reset it to just song title?

Sounds like you'll need to edit the embedded metadata info tags if Bandcamp is providing them incorrectly - unless Bandcamp has an option to change that behaviour when it creates the files in the first place.

Individual files can be done within Poweramp (using 'info/Tags' from the song's long-press menu and then select 'Edit Tags') or you can use a batch tag editor (ideally on a computer) if there are a lot.

Bandcamp usually has pretty complete metadata (with the exception of genre tags, those are always blank :P).

The filenames are formatted as artist-album-tracktitle, this is true.

This could just be an exception, though.
