Luis David García Solano
Is it posible to add autoeq headphones database to Poweramp? I think that would be an awesome feature.
andrewilley
You can save a file from AutoEQ for your headphones, and then import it into Poweramp. Andre
Luis David García Solano
@andrewilley how can i do that?
andrewilley
First save the desired AutoEQ settings for your headphones from the relevant page on their website into a text file. Then go into the PA EQ screen, tap on the 'Preset' button (which may already have a preset name assigned to it, but that doesn't matter, you just need to open the list) and long-press on any preset in the list. Then select Import and find your saved text file. Andre
MrBertie
I have tried many times to import the AutoEq settings via a .txt file from the AutoEq Github site, but it always says "Failed..." What could I be doing wrong? Is there an official import format documented somewhere? *EDIT*: Found my problem, the file was imported, but I did not realise that it creates a new preset using the file name of the imported text file, but does not automatically switch to that preset ... not intuitive, now I know! I did notice that it does not respect the HS and LS settings during import. Edited February 11, 2023 by MrBertie
andrewilley
The format of the text file is really simple, just a few lines of plain text (or one long line for Graphic). They are generally linked at the top of the page for each headphone on the AutoEQ site, just open and save the contents of the xxx_ParametricEQ.txt, xxx_GraphicEQ.txt, or xxx_FixedBandEQ.txt files. e.g. FixedBandEQ Preamp: -7.3 dB Filter 1: ON PK Fc 31 Hz Gain 6.3 dB Q 1.41 Filter 2: ON PK Fc 62 Hz Gain 5.4 dB Q 1.41 Filter 3: ON PK Fc 125 Hz Gain -1.2 dB Q 1.41 Filter 4: ON PK Fc 250 Hz Gain -3.5 dB Q 1.41 Filter 5: ON PK Fc 500 Hz Gain -1.3 dB Q 1.41 Filter 6: ON PK Fc 1000 Hz Gain 0.3 dB Q 1.41 Filter 7: ON PK Fc 2000 Hz Gain 1.5 dB Q 1.41 Filter 8: ON PK Fc 4000 Hz Gain 3.7 dB Q 1.41 Filter 9: ON PK Fc 8000 Hz Gain -1.4 dB Q 1.41 Filter 10: ON PK Fc 16000 Hz Gain 2.9 dB Q 1.41 ParametricEQ Preamp: -6.5 dB Filter 1: ON LS Fc 105 Hz Gain 6.6 dB Q 0.70 Filter 2: ON PK Fc 233 Hz Gain -3.3 dB Q 0.49 Filter 3: ON PK Fc 4031 Hz Gain 5.6 dB Q 2.35 Filter 4: ON PK Fc 1621 Hz Gain 5.3 dB Q 2.64 Filter 5: ON PK Fc 2751 Hz Gain -2.8 dB Q 2.98 Filter 6: ON HS Fc 10000 Hz Gain 1.9 dB Q 0.70 Filter 7: ON PK Fc 867 Hz Gain -0.9 dB Q 2.74 Filter 8: ON PK Fc 6609 Hz Gain -2.4 dB Q 5.02 Filter 9: ON PK Fc 9202 Hz Gain -2.0 dB Q 2.26 Filter 10: ON PK Fc 5370 Hz Gain 1.6 dB Q 4.26 GraphicEQ GraphicEQ: 20 -0.2; 21 -0.2; 22 -0.2; 23 -0.2; 24 -0.2; 26 -0.2; 27 -0.2; 29 -0.2; 30 -0.2; 32 -0.2; 34 -0.2; 36 -0.2; 38 -0.2; 40 -0.2; 43 -0.2; 45 -0.2; 48 -0.2; 50 -0.2; 53 -0.2; 56 -0.2; 59 -0.2; 63 -0.3; 66 -0.6; 70 -1.0; 74 -1.5; 78 -2.0; 83 -2.5; 87 -2.9; 92 -3.5; 97 -4.2; 103 -4.9; 109 -5.5; 115 -6.0; 121 -6.5; 128 -7.0; 136 -7.4; 143 -7.7; 151 -8.0; 160 -8.3; 169 -8.5; 178 -8.6; 188 -8.7; 199 -8.8; 210 -9.0; 222 -9.2; 235 -9.2; 248 -9.1; 262 -9.0; 277 -9.0; 292 -9.0; 309 -8.9; 326 -8.8; 345 -8.7; 364 -8.7; 385 -8.6; 406 -8.6; 429 -8.6; 453 -8.6; 479 -8.3; 506 -7.0; 534 -5.9; 565 -6.4; 596 -7.2; 630 -7.6; 665 -7.7; 703 -7.8; 743 -7.9; 784 -7.9; 829 -7.8; 875 -7.7; 924 -7.5; 977 -7.2; 1032 -6.8; 1090 -6.3; 1151 -5.7; 1216 -5.1; 1284 -4.2; 1357 -3.3; 1433 -2.4; 1514 -1.8; 1599 -1.6; 1689 -1.7; 1784 -2.2; 1885 -3.0; 1991 -4.0; 2103 -5.0; 2221 -5.6; 2347 -6.0; 2479 -6.7; 2618 -7.2; 2766 -7.0; 2921 -6.7; 3086 -6.0; 3260 -4.6; 3443 -3.2; 3637 -1.7; 3842 -1.3; 4058 -1.9; 4287 -1.7; 4528 -1.8; 4783 -2.5; 5052 -2.8; 5337 -3.2; 5637 -4.1; 5955 -5.4; 6290 -6.9; 6644 -7.8; 7018 -7.4; 7414 -6.8; 7831 -6.9; 8272 -7.2; 8738 -7.3; 9230 -7.3; 9749 -7.0; 10298 -6.7; 10878 -6.6; 11490 -6.4; 12137 -6.2; 12821 -5.9; 13543 -5.5; 14305 -5.1; 15110 -4.7; 15961 -4.2; 16860 -3.6; 17809 -3.0; 18812 -2.4; 19871 -1.7 Then you just use the Import feature in either Poweramp or Poweramp-EQ to find the file and import into the appropriate Graphic or Parametric EQ panel. You can even use a regular file explorer app to find the saved .txt file, and if you select Poweramp or Poweramp Equalizer as the app to open the file, the contents will be imported directly and you'll see the new device listed in the presets list when you next open the EQ panel.
