boonboon Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 (edited) Dear Sir. I recently bought a new smartphone. When I playing MP3, FLAC files. Sound is choppy. Not smooth playing. I'm using Poweramp build 920 Smartphone model : Redmi Note 11 Pro+ (China) Android version :11 ROM : MIUI 12.5.14.0 (China stable rom) I think is cause with uncompatibility with Dolby Atmos?? When I turn off Dolby Atmos I can play normaly but sound is not good. Please help me to fix it. andrewilley Posted January 10, 2022 Share Posted January 10, 2022 Might be worth trying different Settings > Audio > Output methods (e.g. high-res or AudioTrack) and also increasing the audio buffer size for the chosen output method. Try with DVC disabled. Also turn try turning off MusicFX in Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks, which will disable any post-processing features added by the device manufacturer, thus allowing cleaner audio reproduction.
