Jonathan Douglass Posted October 5, 2021 Share Posted October 5, 2021 I own a new Galaxy Tab S7 with a 256GB Samsung Evo Select SDXC card. Whenever I open Poweramp on this device, the program takes a couple minutes to re-locate the files. Sometimes I need to manually rescan in order to force the files to be found again. andrewilley Posted October 5, 2021 Share Posted October 5, 2021 Check in Settings > Library > Music Folders to ensure only the folder you want to scan is ticked. Might be worth revoking storage permissions and granting them again. Also make sure that Settings > Misc > File Access Legacy Mode is not enabled. Legacy mode was disabled, but in Android system settings> permissions> storage Poweramp was denied file management access. I enabled, cleared the active apps, rebooted and seems to be working properly now. I'll try it for a bit and see if that was indeed the issue. Thanks again.
