    Thanks for the reply. Legacy mode was disabled, but in Android system settings> permissions> storage Poweramp was denied file management access. I enabled, cleared the active apps, rebooted and seems to be working properly now. I'll try it for a bit and see if that was indeed the issue. Thanks again.

    I own a new Galaxy Tab S7 with a 256GB Samsung Evo Select SDXC card. Whenever I open Poweramp on this device, the program takes a couple minutes to re-locate the files. Sometimes I need to manually rescan in order to force the files to be found again. Any idea why this happens or if there is anything that I can do to correct this issue?
