Scrumplex
I have some FLAC files in my music library and it seems like most files do not have any metadata in Poweramp (Artist, Album, Genre,...). I am currently using beta-build-795-play but this was the same in earlier versions. I converted my wav files to flac with the command-line utility "flac" available for most Linux distros (Package name probably "flac").
andrewilley
Try testing the files with a utility such as the PC-based TagScanner. It can read and check tags for most common file formats, and even batch edit them if you need to update them. Andre
Scrumplex
The media player I use on my PC (Music Player Daemon + Cantata) shows the metadata correctly. I always use Cantata to edit my tags. The metadata just doesn't work in Poweramp. I could provide (royalty free) examples for this bug.

Scrumplex
The song "Mountkid - No Lullaby" is a NoCopyrightSounds release. I found a ".wav" version of it and converted it to ".flac" on Linux. I will send you the download link via private message, as I don't want to publicly post the download link. andrewilley
Thanks. As with a lot of FLACs, the metadata is in Vorbis format, which I've seen cause problems before. I'll have a look and see what happens with it though. Andre
andrewilley
I've tested it, and your sample file works fine for me on build 795. Title/artist/album/genre/year/etc are all visible in PA. Andre
Scrumplex
Looks like it magically appeared. This may have been some bug from an older beta/alpha version and the database was updated recently? Anyway. This can be marked as solved now.
