johann0115
In the screenshot below, I'm playing a .wav file (1411 kbps, 44.1 khz and 32bit file) and it's limited to a standard audio output... I've got a Moto Z2 Play with a snapdragon 626 processor with Android Oreo, I think it should be able to support it. andrewilley
What mode have you got set in Settings > Audio > Output for high res output for your Wired Headset? And which version of PA are you running (build 709 is the latest in the fork that your screenshot indicates)? johann0115
Oh, yes. I'm using version 709, and I have enabled the option in settings already, I'm trying the option with an aux cable to a stereo but it's maxed out at standard output. andrewilley
On that screenshot, your wired headset/AUX is using OpenSL ES (i.e. regular Android output) not any HD mode. Go up a level from there and see if you've got any HD options available on your device/ROM. johann0115
Then I'll have to wait for my device to be supported? ? Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/11482-hi-res-output-doesnt-seem-to-work/#findComment-50912 Share on other sites
andrewilley
Looks like it's supported to me - just select the HD option "OpenSL ES HD Output " and activate that for headset/AUX output instead of using the regular non-HD version. You can adjust the specific settings using the gear-wheel icon next to the mode you've selected.
