twostepjake
Ive just recently gotten a new SD card for my tablet and im trying to sync my music onto it and all of my IDE tags are not sticking! everything is showing up as unknown. I currently use Windows media player but was wondering if there's a better program to use to sync my music where all my tags will stay or is there something i can do to get all my tags to stay when i sync my music!? TeutonJon78
I use MusicBee, which seems pretty great overall. Free, but not open source. Nightengale/Clementine/Foobar are other good alternatives. Some people like MediaMonkey, but they limit some of what it can do to the paid version.
SnowItch
I've had very good luck with Helium Music Manager. Does a great job managing my music collection (over 26,000 songs). Since my entire collection won't fit on an SD card, I create playlists in Helium. Helium has a sychronize device feature that will copy the music into the folder I want (including the ability to create folders by artist and album). The only issue that I have had is that Helium won"t always copy the playlists to the correct place but I have created a simple workaroung to that issue.
