Carlo32
Hello, I purchased the equalizer-only app and I have a problem. I have the full Poweramp app purchased, but I decided to buy the equalizer-only APP, to use it with Spotify. The problem I have is that when I open Poweramp full to play local music, it automatically calls me or opens the equalizer app as well. Open an option or can you please tell me what to do so that when I use the Poweramp app it doesn't call the equalizer app?!! I use the app on Samsung Galaxy s20 fe 5g Android 13 Thank you! Carlo32
Hello, how can I prevent the equalizer from opening when I open a game? I don't want that game to be equalized by the Poweramp EQ app. Does anyone know how to avoid that? Thank you!
andrewilley
I've merged these two threads as the answer is probably the same. Go into PA-EQ Settings=>Equalizer=>Known Players, and de-select any media playing apps that you don't want to equalize. You may also want to go into Advanced Player Tracking and turn off the 'Enable Player Tracking' switch. Andre
Carlo32
@andrewilley Hello, thank you for your response. I already checked the list of known players and I can't see either power amp or my game (Diablo immortal) to disable them, I can only see that Spotify is there. I have reinstalled it on several occasions and I have not been able to prevent the EQ APP from being called by those two programs. Basically the only thing that interests me is having Spotify with the Poweramp equalizer, the rest of the programs and applications I don't need to open. andrewilley
If an app is not ticked in the list, its audio should not be getting equalized. Not sure why that is happening for you. Andre
Carlo32
@andrewilley Yes, in fact, before writing, check that the applications were in the list (my game and Poweram Full, to put the switch on off, but neither of the two appear, only Spotify appears, it is something strange, that is why I reached the forums to ask for help. Don't you have to make some configuration in the full Poweramp app to prevent it from calling the EQ application? There I uploaded a screenshot, it does not show Poweramp full or my game diablo immotal and when I open either of these two applications, at the top of the notification bar it shows that it is equalizing through the Poweramp EQ and I don't want that. I don't want Poweramp Full to have double equalization, if it already has its own, if you know anything about it I would appreciate it. Note: I have the app installed on my Samsung cell phone. andrewilley
You can prevent the output from the Poweramp Music Player app from being processed by external apps by turning OFF the 'MusicFX' switch, which is found in the player's equalizer screen (second page). So you are saying that even with all the options turned off (include the experimental 'Enable Player Tracking' switch), the extra equalization effect is still being applied to your game? What about if you turn the PA-EQ app off completely (turn off the top switch in PA-EQ Settings=>Equalizer) does that then pass the audio through flat?
