When I click on a track, it expands to full screen

I want to disable the feature that opens a track when you click on it.

You can change that action to either Play and Stay in the List, or Enqueue and Stay in the List, instead if you wish. See Settings=>Library=>Lists=>List Item Click Action. But you can't turn it off as it's the fundamental way to handle accessing an individual song.
