Auto Poweramp widget start...

Recommended Posts

You can set the Poweramp app to automatically resume playback when the app is launched on your device (PA Settings=>Audio=>Audio Focus=>Resume on Start) but you'd need to tell your Launcher to start the app when you power up your head unit. Some launchers provide an "Auto Launch" feature for apps which does just that, but otherwise a task management app ought to be able to do it for you.

So I installed PA on my tab, and set up some Poweramp playlists on the main screen.. And there is text under those widgets, but on the 2 other places Poweramp is installed, there is no text (band names) under them. It wasn't a choice if you wanted to add text or not.. so any idea how i can get the text (playlist name) under the playlisy icons? cos those icons are very small..

Thanks 🫠

When you create a shortcut icon to a playlist on a home screen (usually done via the Widgets setup system) the label shown under the new shortcut icon is normally the name of the playlist that you choose from the shortcut's setup menu. The main Poweramp app icon will always just say "Poweramp".

Some launchers allow you to edit the labels for shortcuts and apps, some don't.
