Why is Poweramp showing Album Tracks as Icons?

For some reason Poweramp recently switched to displaying tracks in an album as stacked icons instead of a simple list of the song names.

 

Why did this change?

You can adjust the view type using (three-dots-menu) => List Options in any Category or songs list view. Or just use a "pinch" gesture to zoom in or out through the different grid/list views.

Each individual Category and song list has its own setting, so you could use a different style for viewing Albums compared to Folders for example.
