I just saw a lyrics grabbing API in OTO Music player, which came pre installed on my Custom ROM Alphadroid. If it's possible maybe Poweramp add the API as well. Or there is now an API that allows third-party apps to pass such results back to Poweramp for displaying within the native interface, but the dev of the third-party app would need to support the interface aspect in their code.
