miketunes
I'm considering re-organizing my mp3 collection so I can use voice control when driving. Currently I have my mp3s in 2 folders - albums and favorites. If I want to hear my weezer favorites, I just long press the weezer folder under favorites. I've read we can use star ratings to mark favorites instead. Is there a way to play those via voice? Would something like "ok google, ask Poweramp to play weezer favorites" work? Or any suggestions on an alternate way to play them by voice. Quote Translate Revert translation? andrewilley
No, you can't access folders via Google's Voice Command feature. Android tries to interpret what you have requested into valid song, album or artist names. The same applies to playing Playlists. It does not pass the user's spoken commands verbatim to the player app. Andre Quote Translate Revert translation?
