Joshua Maristela
I would like to ask for my Cayin N5MK2, I've installed Poweramp on it, but unfortunately my files stutter every 5 or 10 seconds, can anyone help me? I'm using default Poweramp settings upon installation and all of my audio files are on FLAC.

andrewilley
This is a 5-year-old device, running on a modified version of Android 5, but it was high -pec in its day so it should ought to still be able to run Poweramp fine (Android mods aside anyway). Presumably this is a new clean install, and Poweramp has not been used via this same Google account on any other devices (so no previous settings can have been restored from the cloud). Try changing your chosen Output method (in PA Settings > Audio > Output). Try AudioTrack or Hi-Res for example if your problem is with OpenSL-ES. Try increasing the audio buffer size in case your storage isn't fast enough for the size/resolution of your source files. Is DVC enabled or not? Joshua Maristela
Thanks Andrew, I'll keep you posted. The Poweramp UI is still intact and responsive, I hope your recommendations may solve the stutter issue I'm dealing with it.
Joshua Maristela
Hello Andrew, Thanks for your quick resolution, it did work and due to some tweaks now PA ran more smoothly and I had really fun prying it. Appreciate the support very much.
