andrewilley Posted April 4, 2021 Share Posted April 4, 2021 What device, ROM version, Poweramp version? SD Card or internal storage? What file formats? Does this mainly occur after a reboot (especially if you are using a Samsung Android 11 ROM), and how were the new files transferred to your device (syncing app or manual file copies?). A couple of initial thoughts: if Android 11, turn off PA Settings > Misc > File Access Legacy Mode. A Full Rescan (found in Settings > Library) should detect the full number of audio files in scannable locations first, and then it crawls through and reads the metadata tags (if available) from each one. If a new song is shown in the Library but just as a filename - i.e. with no Title/Album/Artist information - long-press on that song and select 'Info/Tags' to see what data is actually there.
