Pinkally Posted March 17, 2021 Share Posted March 17, 2021 Hi there, I am brand new to Poweramp. I have just added most of my music, however, some have come over as unknown albums?? I have the download album art enabled. If I play the unknown, I then know the artist, but how can i edit the name of the album/artist/track title etc from unknown in Poweramp. Pinkally Posted March 17, 2021 Author Share Posted March 17, 2021 Update, Done a full rescan, did not help. have now discovered info tags and how to edit them, with 49 tracks showing unknown, it will be a long process. andrewilley Posted March 17, 2021 Share Posted March 17, 2021 The easiest way is to use a fully featured batch tag editor program, ideally on a computer not a phone (although there are some phone apps that do a decent job). PA does have a simple internal one-song-at-a-time tag editing feature, but as you say it would be a long process for a lot of files. See the FAQ for more info, including links to tag editor software.
