andrewilley Posted February 12, 2021 Share Posted February 12, 2021 They are for the compressor (normalizer) feature, which is only in the new Poweamp Equalizer module rather than the main audio player app (yet). They control things like how quickly adjustments happen and revert to previous values, etc. A quick Google will find some general guidance, such as https://www.audio-issues.com/music-mixing/compressor-attack-and-release-times-explained/ .
