andrewilley Posted January 7, 2021 Share Posted January 7, 2021 You can tell Poweramp to keep the player screen on permanently using Settings > Look and Feel > Keep Screen On. Brightness reduction while the screen is still on would be an Android function though, not a PA one. It doesn't happen on my Samsung phone while Keep Screen On is activated anyway. andrewilley Posted January 7, 2021 Share Posted January 7, 2021 Poweramp's 'Keep Screen On' feature only applies while you are in the main Player screen, not in menus/lists/etc. It applies whether music is playing or not, so the main player screen should always remain awake as long as that option has been selected. Anywhere else though, the normal Android screen timeout features work as per your device's settings - which normally includes dimming the screen to minimum brightness shortly before the display goes fully to sleep.
