DSD audio (like all audio formats) has to be converted to PCM before Poweramp can work with it.


If you set the same output frequency (e.g. 192kHz) using Poweramp's High-Res options as your source files, they should not get resampled. If you have varying different source file frequencies, set the output to the highest rate and the lower sample-rate files will be upsampled. Note: Poweramp does not have an 'on-the-fly' adjustment feature to match output rates to source files as that would break a whole lot of other things (crossfade, gapless playback, etc) and potentially create glitches during song transitions.
