So you obviously have the Tempo functionality activated (otherwise the rotary control would not work), but you can't turn the mode on/off with the Tempo button, as shown below. Your EQ screen remains as per the first image (i.e. mode activated, with the current value shown under the knob), even when you tap on the Tempo button? And on all of the supplied skins? Have you tried using the Reset button to set that screen back to its defaults? Or even clear the app's data and effectively let PA reinstall all of its settings and library (backup your old settings, playlist, and any ratings first though).
