Geo Joseph
While playing some songs a cracking/disortion sound appears in the background.I am 100% sure that this is not an issiue with the track as i have played them on other players and found no problem. andrewilley
Anything in common about the tracks, are they all the same format or bitrate/etc. Do you have any EQ boost settings in place? If so, try reducing the preamp gain and see if that helps. Andre
Geo Joseph
@andrewilley All tracks in my library is downloaded from youtube. I use bass boost and reducing it decreases the disortion upto a point but it's not completely gone
andrewilley
Any YouTube downloads that I've come across are mostly using unofficial methods and tend to be maximised to 100% digital levels (and probably don't contain any ReplayGain info to compensate for this) so try reducing the pre-amp gain before you apply any EQ boosts. Or try audio files from a more legitimate source, or rip some tracks from your own CDs, and see if you have the same problems. Andre
