andrewilley Posted April 12, 2020 Share Posted April 12, 2020 Google Play purchases (of any apps) can only be installed via Google Play, that's just the way their system works. If you buy from the website here (which is licences for a single device at any given time) then the APK file can be installed without needing Google Play - although a live internet connection is still required, which can be done via wi-fi. Google Play purchases can only be used on Google Play devices - in fact on pretty much as many such devices as you like, as long as each one uses the same Google account that you used for making the purchase. That's the way Google Play purchases work, for all apps not just PA. Website purchases are different. They are not reliant on Google services at all (they are email address based) but a purchase can only be used on a single device at any given time. You can still install a downloaded APK file on new devices later, but re-validating your licence on a new device will revoke the licence for the old one.
