andrewilley
Is it any particular tracks that do this (so is it repeatable) or completely random:? Sounds like PA is unable to read the file properly, does this happen with files on SD Card or internal device storage? Andre
Deathswarm
No some particular songs are skipped by power amp. It doesn't show me any messages. And i have no sd card... So all songs are in my internal memory. ....... Thanks .....
andrewilley
Are there any particular audio files or file types it happens with? (note as per your other thread, there is no support for playing video files in Poweramp, although by chance it can often work to hear the audio portion) Andre
Deathswarm
But previous version have no problem playing audio from a video file.... But this updated engine sucks at playing audio from video. I think i have to downgrade to old power amp. Cause update trim down it's features. Bass is not like previous version. As I said before, if some video files do happen to work for you then that's a nice accidental bonus, but Poweramp is an AUDIO player, and files which mainly contain video content are not officially supported. If they work for you in v2 though, please feel free to continue to use that. Maybe Max will be able to modify the v3 audio engine to cope with such files again, but as it's not part of the primary app functionality it's not something that is likely to get a very high priority.
