bsdinis Posted September 14, 2018 Share Posted September 14, 2018 Why isn't there an option to follow the source file's sample rate? It should be there at least for the Open SL ES Hi-Res output. For me, it's the whole reason I use Poweramp, NO RESAMPLING! It's a PitA when you have 44.1, 48, 96 and 192kHz albums. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Max (the dev) has said it would break a lot of other functionality - gapless, crossfade, etc - and create noise and possibly and extra delay during the switchover transition. Gapless is only relevant for listening to a whole album, and you won't see files with different sample rates within the same album. I couldn't care less for crossfade.
