Gonzafed Posted August 29, 2018 Share Posted August 29, 2018 I created several playlists with different number of tracks, but after a while all the playlists are empty with 0 tracks. This problem existed before and exists now. Im tired of have to add all the files again so i get bored of using this feature that is very usuful. flyingdutchman Posted August 29, 2018 Share Posted August 29, 2018 First of all, I guess you have your music on the external sdcard. When you remove this card, all your tracks are no longer available and Poweramp and android start to clean up their dtabases thinking the tracks have been deleted. Reconnecting/inserting the card again, even without any changes, will kick off a rescan and your tracks are all added again but they are treated as new tracks. Hence your playlists show up empty. Secondly. to preserve your playlists, make sure you export them as .m3u8 playlists. These will be unaffected by sdcard removal as they are simply text files which music apps can read and play.
