Robbs
Hi, I bought a new phone today, and i noticed that the sound quality is poor compared to my another older devices, and even google standard player is playing better now. I having issues like low volume and annoying noises playing on both earphones and bluetooth devices. Using galaxy j7 prime, marshmallow 6.01 without root and the latest Poweramp version on playstore. Thanks in advance!
andrewilley
Try turning DVC mode off. Might also be worth trying the alpha-test of Poweramp v3 (build 704) as that has a completely rebuilt audio engine. Andre
Robbs
Yes, I've tried that already but not helped. I'll try beta version, is it safe to use? I mean, i don't want to sacrifice battery life or something instead of wait for a stable version lol
andrewilley
It's only an alpha version, but a lot of people are using it as their daily version of the app, it's pretty stable. Try it and see, it's easy enough to uninstall and re-install the old version if you find you need to. Andre

andrewilley
DVC is a feature that if it works on your device is nice, but a lot of people find they need to leave it turned off depending on their ROMs, etc. Andre
