Narcis
Hi, When listening to music I can hear as music stops and after approx. 0,5 seconds it plays again. It´s happening completely randomly. Sometimes 2 times per minute, sometimes nothing happen during whole song. I discovered that it´s happening only when music is stored on SD card. Everything OK when music is stored on internal memory. I don´t know if it´s a real bug, or just caused by some phone/app settings. Xiaomi Redmi 4 pro, Android 6.0.1 MMB29M, MIUI Global 8.0 stable 8.0.5.0.0, latest google play app version. Thank you for resolving this issue.
andrewilley
Backup your card and reformat it, then copy everything back again (all while the phone is turned off). If that doesn't fix the problem, try increasing the output buffer size and see if that helps. Andre

andrewilley
Assuming you are using the release build not a test release, go to Poweramp Settings > Audio > Advanced Tweaks and increase the Audio Buffer Size and Audio Thread Priority values. Kodapounder
I was having the same issue with my HTC 10. I followed the advice in this thread and switched my Audio Buffer from the Auto setting to the highest setting and that corrected all of the start / stop issues.
