ldines Posted May 16, 2014 Share Posted May 16, 2014 I upgraded to a S5 then to a 128GB SD yesterday so I could finally have all my music a MP3 at a decent quality. 72GB 21.3K file 3.4k files. Since then Shuffle all sings is no longer fully random. Seems to be stuck on the numeric band names. E.g. 10cc, 3Ds... Turned out the auto scanner for some reason chose a folder starting with a '$' and not any others. Manually set folders to be scanned and problem solved. If you get some duplications in DB (e.g. via sd card aliased paths), this can cause also duplications in shuffled results.Also, Poweramp has multiple shuffle methods, which one you're using exactly?Thanks! Poweramp used to work flawlessly in the shuffle mode, but now I get multiple repeats i.e. the same song might play three times in one hour when I have selected a genre to shuffle that has over 400 songs in it.
