yellowantphil
Poweramp does not list the composer on my OGG files or AAC audio files. It does list the composer on FLAC, MP3, and MP4, even though the MP4 video files have AAC audio.Other tags work correctly on all file types.I tagged these files using kid3 in Linux—this could possibly be a bug in kid3 rather than Poweramp.I can provide sample files if needed. maxmp
There is no composer support for OGG files. As for AAC, those can have many types of tagging, and Poweramp assume most common - ID3v2 for them, so it should be there. If possible, please send those tracks for further tests to poweramp.maxmpz gmail.com.Thanks! yellowantphil
Thanks. I sent my AAC file. I extracted the audio from a youtube video using ffmpeg, so maybe something strange happened to the file when ffmpeg wrote it. Are there any plans to support the composer tag in OGG files? The majority of my files are in OGG format, so browsing by composer is not very useful to me at the moment. But for my files where the composer is set but the artist is not, I can easily browse to them using the folder view, so I am content.
