Poweramp pauses (or crashes???) very often

Recommended Posts

Poweramp goes to pause (I think... because the song is not at 0 secs... but the log below says it's crashed...) on my Galaxy S I9000. I'm using Cyanogen 10.2.1.

Below a log:

Thans for the log - I don't see any app errors here, it looks like killing by something - if log doesn't contain some follow up crash dump (it can be delayed for few seconds).

Nevertheless, there are no issues with Poweramp on S1 like this. Try some other CM build.

Thanks!

I've been doing research on this exact topic.  From what I've seen in the logcat, the items to look for will be past what you found.

I've seen these, but they don't really mean they are actually usable by apps (from what I tested)

2-27 13:41:45.046 W/RestStorages(5437): Detected mount point=/storage/sdcard0
02-27 13:41:45.046 W/RestStorages(5437): Detected mount point=/radio
02-27 13:41:45.050 W/RestStorages(5437): Detected mount point=/storage/sdcard1
02-27 13:41:45.050 W/RestStorages(5437): Available mounts=[/storage/sdcard0, /radio, /storage/sdcard1]

You want to look for:

RestStorages: Using folders=/storage/sdcard1/[folder]

The Using folders seems to be when apps can actually see the mount.  Why the Detected and Available aren't the right ones is way above my geek.

I also see another entry that may be unique to my N7 2013 and Timur's kernel:

FolderScanner2: Starting scan=/storage/sdcard1/[folder] fastScan=true

I would suggest updating to build 574 (soon on this forum) and check if it helps - we fixed couple of issues in native side, though for you it looks like Poweramp is crashed immediately on load (not even when starting sd card scan).

Thanks!
