isthisnamelongenough
I had some live tracks on an "album" I created for a particular artist. I got the rest of the tracks from the concert, so I removed the ones I already had from that album, combined them with the new ones, and made an album of just the concert. There are still some tracks on the original album, so I should have a total of two albums. After syncing the phone and PC (running iSyncr from iTunes on PC to Galaxy S3 running Android 4.3), Poweramp would not recognize the new tracks and left the pre-existing ones on the album they were on. After syncing again, it still wouldn't see the new ones and deleted the old ones, so I have a net loss of five songs and still one album. iTunes synced fine, the album shows up in iSyncr, and the stock Samsung player has it down perfect, even the album art. How can I get Poweramp to recognize the new arrangement? I have downloaded build 541. @Poweramp2
iSyncr doesn't fully support Poweramp, we always recommend you simply drag and drop the folder to your music folder that way it stays together and Poweramp will recognize it. isthisnamelongenough
Sorry to be so dense.... So, delete the "syncr" folder that has all the music and drag and drop the files manually into the "music" folder (which is on the SD card but empty)? I don't use Kies and Airdroid is hit or miss. Thx Link to comment https://forum.powerampapp.com/topic/5594-player-wont-recognize-new-album/#findComment-21377 Share on other sites
@Poweramp2
Yeah do it the manual way for 2 reasons. 1 it is faster and 2, it lets you have complete control of what music goes where. That way you can use "folder view" instead in Poweramp and browse your music the same way you set it up/dropped it on your device.
