Vinicius Camargo
After its last update, Google Play Music is with a better quality audio than Poweramp, even with the Play Music equalizer disabled and Poweramp equalizer enabled. Its strange, it seems that Google Play Music is using a different audio track to play. Using Android 4.1.2 and the latest versions of both applications.Just find it interesting, maybe something can be done about this so Poweramp can have the same audio quality before equalization as Google Play Music have.PS: I don't use Play Music, it just came installed on the system partition, and there is no root for my device yet, so I cant remove it from my phone. maxmp
When playing the same format in both players with DSPs off, you'll get bit-to-bit the same output for most formats (mp3, mp4, flac) within very small error margin (few bits per song). When DSPs are enabled (Equ, tone, etc.) of course there will be a difference, and it depends on user settings (not to mention more advanced Poweramp DSP).Thanks! Vinicius Camargo
You do not understand, I meant that even with the DSP effects off on both, the audio on Play Music is best. That's what I dont understant.
