Internet Access for player

I was using Amazon’s music player on my phone and I found out after installing it that if you aren’t careful you can set the thing to play from the “cloud” and it eats up bandwidth like there is no tomorrow. I want to be able to either not have the “Cloud” accessible or be able to turn access off so I don't chew up my entire month's data in a few hours.

Is this a feature that is included in the Poweramp Music Player?

Poweramp is a local file player, it does not access any music via the internet (apart from album art anyway).
