Will not work on LG v60 thinq

I use spotify, and I haven't been able to get it to work on my new LG v60 think.

I tried rebooting, reinstalling, then uninstalling Poweramp and spotify and reinstalling both. Nothing seems to work. I have had my phone booted for one day so the few minute. 

I can see in the EQ scroll bar that audio is coming through, but moving the EQ sliders, bass/treble knobs, gain doesn't change anything.

@Anonymousfox Unfortunately I don't have v60 (on my other LG devices it works, but the last is G7 for me). Does any other modern equalizer work for you at all? E.g. Wavelet? (Any 5-band equalizer or equalizer claiming compatibility with androids below 9 are not "modern", those use deprecated APIs unused by Peq/Wavelet).

Wavelet works, as does neutralizer EQ. But Poweramp doesn't.

@Anonymousfox Poweramp Eq should work then. Try to reset it to the defaults by deleting it data (uninstall/reinstall won’t work by default as Android automatically restores previous preferences).
