Chimpster
First off let me say that I'm loving the program and if I can nail this last niggly problem I'll be 100% happy!I've done a quick forum search to see if this is a common issue but have drawn a blank. Sorry if this is a common question! My car stereo is a Sony MEX-BT2900 and has a nice function wherein it displays tag information on the HUD and also allows play/pause/skip etc through the front unit. The default music app (Galaxy S2 fresh out of the box) will do this quite nicely but isn't anywhere near as feature rich as your chaps fine creation. Poweramp has the front end control down fine but not the tag display.Am I missing something obvious or is this a known issue? Thanks for the help in advance! Ottoman
Hello! This is not an issue per se; rather, it is a well-known, annoying, and well-documented limitation for which there is unfortunately no decisive action plan (only intentions) despite the below threads:http://forum.poweram...__fromsearch__1http://forum.poweram...__fromsearch__1http://forum.poweram...__fromsearch__1The worst is, as you have pointed out, the stock app on Samsung Galaxy S II features this functionality.Argument that this is not native feature is deplorable to say the least... MystaMax
Ottoman, have you tried other players? I'm about to install some other music players to see if they do it. I've got the Sony XAV-62BT in my car and love it. It supports AVRCP (link to verify: http://goo.gl/oEEG4).I'll post back and let ya know.
