bs0d1
I'm developing a simple desktop app(for Linux and Windows) and I'm searching for a way to download album art. I tried to look at source codes from some of open source projects but all of their ways to find album arts are too complicated for me. I was just wondering how Poweramp downloads album arts so fast and accurately. Can you please just tell me which webpages you are using or which ways you are following to get album arts? Are you parsing a web page like last.fm or amazon or are you using a search engine etc. Thanks, and sorry for my english..
admin
It uses google image search + various filtering and caching techniques. Thanks!
raynerape
It would be great if we had ability to set album art source and choice between Google Search, Amazon, iTunes, etc. Also, the ability to order them based on priority and if one search engine returns no results, fall back to the next one... lamedroid
I second that, would be great to be able to edit album art. The feature is awesome, but still lists a lot of wrong album art.
