  1. I think he means the background of the homescreen, with a Poweramp or Poweramp-supporting Live Wallpaper.
  2. Please also add Settings / Default List / Last Used Playlist
  3. Memory is not a problem for 2010 Mid/High-end devices, they have 512+ RAM and usually 60-90 always available even with lots of apps.
  4. Ah, yes, I second that. Also.. * Equalizer - Creating the playlist shows a list of all equalizer presets in Poweramp. User chooses preset and creates the shortcut. clicking the shortcut will switch the equalizer to the preset. * Edit Tags - Creates a shortcut that causes PlayerAMP to open tag edit window for the last played or the currently playing song. * Add to Playlist - Creates a shortcut that causes PlayerAMP to send the currently played song to a chosen Playlist, or shows a list of Playlist the user can choose to add the song to.
  5. I would like to ask MaxPMZ to consider for the upcoming versions an implementation of Android shortcuts for controls that are not implemented in the current * Playlist - Creating the playlist shows a list of all playlists Poweramp has detected. User chooses playlist, can set whether the playlist starts from beginning or from the last played song, whether it is shuffled or not, and creates the shortcut. clicking the shortcut will play the chosen shortcut.
  6. Right now double tap goes to next song and triple tap goes to previous song. This is great and almost no other player supports so many gestures this close to iPod Shuffle's rich headset commands. But what is needed is more customization to allow users to assign different commands on double, trippe, may be even four and five tap in succession, or tap and hold, or tap several times and then hold, etc. Possible other commands that would be useful are: * Speak Song's Name - Artist/Album (with awesome Natural voice synthetizers for Android, this is way better experience than iPod Shuffle). * Goto Next Album/Next Artist - for people using sorting and listening to full album or full artist. * Next/Previous Playlist - with playlist name spoken. I rotate between two playlists - one for gym and one for work - and I hate the manual work involved * (in v.2.0) Rate song as (1-5)/5 - automatically give a rating to a song. This is a life saver for me, because I listen to new songs and love a song, I want to quickly rate it so it goes to proper playlist in WinAmp or iTunes when I sync back. If I can do that from the bluetooth device rather than from the UI I can rate songs with my phone in my pocket anywhere - incredibly useful! ...and more, of course, but those are I am very interested in!
  7. I've noticed that some apps (i.e. Photoshop Mobile) can use specific thumb image instead app icon in the notification area when uploading photos. I've wondered why not have Poweramp show album art thumb instead of app icon when album art is available for the currently playing song.
  8. Probably the best mobile implementation of album art grid is Cubed ^3 - lots of inspiration there.
  9. You can already do this with TuneSync and iSynchr. I'd suggest the former of the two. However, none of them is capable of 2-way syncing so play counts, stop durations, and ratings are never synched back to iTunes.
  10. I bet everyone here wants to know, but is afraid to ask - when is next version coming out?
  11. What you need is an app called FTP Server. It runs an FTP server on your phone, you can log in with any FTP client and upload/download files to your SD Card. Given that you want to work with file structure rather than playlist/sync apps like iTunes/DoubleTwist, this is exactly what you need.
  12. It would be great if we had ability to set album art source and choice between Google Search, Amazon, iTunes, etc. Also, the ability to order them based on priority and if one search engine returns no results, fall back to the next one...
  13. With Song Rating planned for 2.0 I would like to ask MaxMP to add a simple 5 stars widget in sizes 2x1 and 4x1 (with song name and album art) that is used to rate the currently played song. I use to rate my newly listened songs on iPod Touch thanks to how easy it is to use rating from iPod app. On Android it is not that easy but should be even easier thanks to such widget.
