The autostart when headphone inserted option is not working, I´ve tried everything - keeping the service alive, autostart when the app opens, etc. Please consider fixing this, it was working like a charm before the upgrade and it is a major setback Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
boyan Posted November 30, 2018 Author Share Posted November 30, 2018 Switching to AIMP, I can´t really deal with this anymore. No solution whatsoever. By the way, the media button of the headphones is also giving problems, the pause option works, but the play (when the phone has been idle for awhile) behaves erratically. maxmp Posted November 30, 2018 Share Posted November 30, 2018 Android 8 and up are much more stricter to apps, and it even more strict to apps updated to latest SDK, so Poweramp is just unloaded and gone for you if it doesn’t respond on headset insertion (some tricks like keeping notification at all times will help, but no ideal solution here). As for resuming by button click, Android will restart last registered player. This mostly always works, but some apps like YouTube are also considered a player apps, though they may not react to headset resume press. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
