Album art bug

Since the last update my album art has disappear, for some bands it is loading, but in a Artist detailed view nothing comes up. I have thousands of track and about 1 gb of music. I like to choose by artist and than album. I deleted the image cache and rescanned, no good.

Samsung Galaxy S7, Android 8.0, no root, licensed user.

Artist image can be downloaded (disabled by default), or it will be picked from one of the songs inside target category.

That image can be also manually selected via (artist) header menu.

OK, thanks for the fast reply. I think I fixed it. Is there a way to have track numbers, instead of the "mini icons" for each song?

The track item at the main screen, lists, and headers is exactly the same everywhere - so I can’t just swap image it to number - it will be number everywhere.

Track number can be added as additional meta information, though it probably should be visible only in limited set of specific categories (albums).

I did it that way and it is showing track numbers, the point would be to remove the icons in front of every song inside an album. I think the previous version was like that.
