I have been observing that Poweramp seems to manage the headset button control in a rather greedy way, even if the "high priority" option is not checked. Whenever I press my headset button Poweramp plays/pauses the music stream even if other music players are playing something (in my case, I see this with BeyondPod). I also encounter this problem when trying to performs actions with Tasker and the headset button. Whenever Tasker is in focus or a few seconds after loosing it, if I press the button Tasker receives it and does what it has to do, but after a few seconds Poweramp re-grabs the control and receives the button press before any other app. Could Poweramp have a less aggressive behaviour regarding the headset button?
